My budget for the new computer is: $600-650ish

Size: 15-16 inches is good for me

What are the primary uses for this computer (IE: mail, web browsing, programming, games, etc)? basic school needs plus some lite gaming. My college tells me that I need 4gb ram and an i5 processor.

What software do you intend on using on the computer? nothing special

Do you play games? If so, what type of games? Yes. Combat arms and minecraft type games

Do you tend to have a lot of programs running at the same time, or do you close every program when you are done using it? I usually close everything, although I would prefer to be able to leave more things up

Do you store a lot of pictures or music on the computer? Not much. I don't think I will need anything more than a 500gb of space

There are so many options out there, and many sites offer student discounts. I am not sure where I should go for the best deal.

This is my current option that I customized at hp.com. Is it worth the money, or can I get something better for the same price?

That's pretty good considering it has a pretty good GPU.
