Hey everyone, I have a Geforce FX 5200 ultra, and the fan on it went out, causing it to overheat when playing games. The fan was all oxidated, so in its place I screwed in another fan that I found lying around. Anyways, after I put my graphic card back in, I can't play games anymore because my pc reboots during loading. I ran the dxdiag tests, and on direct3d test, I get the blue screen of death during the direct x 8 stage. The direct x 7 stage runs fine. Here is a code I wrote down from the blue screen of death:
STOP 0x0000008E
NV4_disp.dll - address BF0CCA37 base at BF012000
Does anyone know what these mean? Should I upload some kind of system log?
I have a i850E chipset and running windows xp sp3
