On one of our computers, there is a program called GridinSoft Trojan Killer (on desktop as "Virus Killer"). I'm just wondering if this is a legitimate antivirus/anti-trojan software. Or is it fraudulent software?

(There was another thread here from 2010, but there was no answer to that.)

Thanks,
Quevvy

It is legit and available from major download hosting sites like CNET.com

Although some get it good reviews, I personally am not sure how effective it is.

BTW, some anti-virus programs have been known to falsely detect it as malware. See here.
