My iPod was working fine until tonight, now the click wheel won't respond. I tried using something thin to get any gunk out, might have to try something even thinner, IDK. it wouldn't soft reset, so I tried restoring it to factory settings and it still is the same way. Why won't the wheel work??? It's a 4th gen classic with color screen. I'm suspicious because I hear a soft pinging sound of sorts when it clicks, like something metallic. The center button still works fine btw, and I can hit "play" with the click wheel or use the on and off function of the lower button and the upper "Menu" switch.
