Bluescreen?

My computer keeps constantly crashing and usually either recovers (the NVIDIA Display driver) and is okay for a while or freezes or bluescreens me.

I had this pop up when I logged back in today after having to push the reset button:

Appears to be a problem with your video drivers, probably damaged.

I would go to Device Manager, uninstall the current Display Adapter driver...then reboot and reinstall same driver, either from Dell driver disk or downloaded from the Dell site.

Clearing the BIOS...seemingly has nothing to do with what you have posted thus far here.

Regardless of what you did "before"...did you try what I suggested?

It also appears that you are running a torrent program...with no firewall enabled and Windows Defender disabled. Not sure what your intent is but these items could combine for trouble.

Your graphics detail reflects "GeForce 8600 GT", while your summary data indicates an onboard GeForce 6150 chipset. Which of these is elected as the primary option for video, please?

Go Start/Run...type devmgmt.msc and hit Enter.

Double-click on Display Adapters...post the data revealed for such.

And...just where are you getting the driver the drive from...which you installed before?

I actually think it was from you, you referred the NVIDIA website for the official driver on a previous thread I made about this same situation before (except no bluescreen)

Above link reflects specs for your listed motherboard. Note that the chipset (onboard video) is GeForce 6150SE...not what is reflected in your Speccy.

Further searching indicates that the specs I looked at...are not the only possible combinations for this board, which led to my confusion (in part). It seems that the driver package includes drivers for various combinations.

I don't know what to tell, other than that I've already stated. I suppose that your crashes may be due to just deterioration of the motherboard, I cannot say.

Apologies, again...I was in error again...I see that it is enabled per your Speccy. Hopefully...I was just having a bad few minutes that day, rather than misinforming various other members all day. I don't multitask well, obviously .

Maybe an error report or something hidden somewhere that would say what the problem is?

There are good Windows tools...but there is nothing that can tell you exactly what is wrong with a system.

There are reports about certain facets, there are reports when something occurs which is considered critical by Windows...but there isn't necessarily a report which can be generated to indicate every possible problem.

Classic example (IMO) is overheating. No error message anywhere, if user doesn't check temperatures and cleanliness of system...there won't be any visible indications.

Let's try this.

Okay I understand Is there a typical temperate the computer should be at? Mines usually up in the 40°c - 47°c mark.

Solutions to the errors above...probably just involve uninstalling and reinstalling applicable program. You may also try just uninstalling/reinstalling iTunes.
