Best Speed for Online Gaming

Hi All,

I'm about to change from DSL to cable internet and I notice that Comcast/Xfinity is offering 5 speeds plans.

20Mbps
6Mbps
30Mbps
50Mbps
105Mbps

I play such games as City of heroes and Star Trek online and I was wondering what speed I should get. Comcast/Xfinity recommend 50 but I just want to make sure this is not a way they trying to make money when I can possibility go with a lower speed at a lower price. Any help you can give will be a great help. Thanks, Phillip

What is the upload for each of those plans? That is what is important in video gaming.

download speeds up to 20 Mbps and uploads up to 4 Mbps

download speeds up to 3 Mbps and uploads up to 768 Kbps

download speeds up to 20 Mbps and upload speeds up to 4 Mbps

download speeds up to 6 Mbps and upload speeds up to 1 Mbps

download speeds up to 30 Mbps and upload speeds up to 6 Mbps

download speeds up to 50Mbps and upload speeds up to 15 Mbps

Downloads up to 105Mbps, uploads up to 10Mbps
