Hi,
Is there any way to crisp up my sound tone? It's not bad about half the time, but at other times it's muffled like listening through cotton wool.
Online movies and TV programs are especially badly muffled.
My external speakers are about 4 years old, there's a 'Tone' knob on them but it has barely any effect.
I've gone into my Win XP Home 'Sounds and Audio devices' settings (Realtek HD Audio) looking for a tone control, but apparently the only sliders I can see are just for volume, nothing to sharpen up the tone, or am I missing something?
Any advice? Thanks
