virus on server 2008

Hi my name is Sean. I have that virus that deletes your files and program menu on a server running server 2008. I used combo fix to recover the program menu data on worksttions. Worked Great! I also was able to show hidden files and recover the data. I cant see the program menu. Any suggestions how to recover program menu data in server 2008. Or is there a version of combo for server 2008 operating system?

Hello having run ComboFix we need to see that and a DDS log.

DO NOT eun a Temp file or Registry cleaner or they will be gone.

Please go here....
Preparation Guide ,do steps 6 - 9.

Create a DDS log and post it in the new topic explained in step 9 which is here Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Logs and not in this topic,thanks.
Skip the GMER step and instead post the ComboFix log you have.

Let me know if that went well.

thanks for replying. combofix will not run on server 2008 operating system. Is there a version of combo fix that is
compatitable with small business server 2008?

No there is not. the only other way to clean it is by posting the DDS log from the Prep guide.
