Adobe Flash Player wont work!!!!!!

So, I keep downloading Adobe Flash Player. But it still dosnt say that I have it downloaded! I keep going on youtube and it says to download the latest updated Adobe, which I do, yet its not working. What is going on? I have Windows 7. I have Safari and Explorer, if either of those help.

Download the most recent version of Adobe Flash Player
FWIW - this is the home page for Adobe Flash Player -
Do you find older versions in Control Panel menu, or in Programs and Features area ??
Delete the old versions and try to reinstall Flash Player again -

You have to remove all the Adobe Flash files using their uninstaller tool. Follow the guidelines on this page : http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html#main_Download_the_Adobe_Flash_Player_uninstaller

And then re-install the Flash Player again using the following link : http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

The Adobe link in your post and the Adobe link I posted above appear to be IDENTICAL yet "yours" opens the FileHippo Beta release page & "mine" opens the dl link @ Adobe.

LOL I messed up the links. First I was trying to post the FileHippo link, then I thought it might be confusing for the OP. So I posted the adobe link. Thanks for correcting :)

Note that some versions of flash on Windows 7 x64 caused IE 8 & 9 to hang. I had to use Flash version 11.1.102.63 to keep this from happening. I have not tried the latest which is 11.2.202.235. They might have fixed the issues with it.

Is your version of Windows 32-bit, or 64-bit?

If it's a 64-bit version, are you also using a 64-bit browser?

If you're using Internet Explorer, is it version 8 or 9?

You are using an insecure version of Flash. Caveat Emptor & all that.
