I have a Acer Aspire Desk Top. One year old. It freezes up on shut down. Have to hold the
button down. 6 GB of Ram, 3.6 Hz,64 Bit. Aspire M3900G.

Sorry, but can you add a bit more information ??

How long has this been a problem ? Have you added or removed any items / programs ? Is there a screen message ? Any recent infection ?
Any other information that you think may help us -

Please post a snapshot with Speccy so we may get a bit more detail of your system -

Thanks for the help. I restored it to a earlier date and it seems to have fixed it.
