Whenever I click anything involving google (Such as logging into Yahoo with a google account) nothing loads. At the bottom it just says sending request.... then says google chrome can not load this (or whatever browser im using)

No clue what to do, this computer was pretty effed up and I cleared mostly everything off of it but I guess this is the only thing that's wrong with it still.

Edit: Moved topic from Vista to the more appropriate forum. ~ Animal

Hi -
This can be transferred with a flash drive on a good computer, if you are having trouble accessing internet on the problem computer -

Please download Farbar Service Scanner and run it on the computer with the issue.
•Make sure the following options are checked:
  • Internet Services
  • Windows Firewall

As you can see your HOSTS file has Bing and Google blocked. You will need to edit your HOSTS file to remove those entries.

The easiest way would be to replace the current HOSTS file with a better one. Take a look here: http://winhelp2002.mvps.org/hosts.htm

We also maintain an update list when that HOSTS file is updated.
