Communication software like net-send

Hi there,

I'm searching for a communication tool for my company. I need to send one way alert messages in a local area network.
I don't have much money to spend on it and I don't have much time to install it.
Anybody knows some softwares that would fit to these criterias?
Anyway I would prefer not to install a new server.

Any suggestions?

You mentioned it on the title, net-send. No need to install and it's free.

We have made our IT migration recently and net-send is not available for win7! I am actually testing some softwares with online demos. Have you tried something else than net-send?
