* Double-click SecurityCheck.exe
* Follow the onscreen instructions inside of the black box.
* A Notepad document should open automatically called checkup.txt; please post the contents of that document.

Checkmark following boxes:

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.

* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform quick scan, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad.
* Post the log back here.

I tried to reinstall the AOL version of McAfey> The install deletes the old vesion and tells you to reboot and coplete the installation. The install does not start up after the reboot.
On AOL when I click on the finanace icon I get a blank window and a pop up that has an "X" for closing and an OK button but no text. When I click to advance the news stories a tab opens with the first story. Another click yeids a new tab with the same storie. I can not advance thru the sories.
When I start the AOL program I get the same pop up as mentioned above. I can not print from AOL. I have reinstalled the AOL soft ware with no results.
This all started when my son in law opened a site and got the Windows No Risk malware.

I'm not sure what is AOL version of McAfee.I tried to reinstall the AOL version of McAfey

McAfee doesn't come free.
Are you willing to pay for it?
If so run McAfee cleanup tool first: http://majorgeeks.com/McAfee_Consumer_Product_Removal_Tool_d5420.html
Then download McAfee and see if it'll install.

After running the McAfey product removal software, everything started working again.
I was able to reinstall the AOL Special Addition of McAfey. This is offered free for AOL members.
