Xbox360 PC Not Listed

Hello,

I have come to the forum since I cannot find a solution for this.

I had my media sharing working fine via WMP and Zune. Last week I had a virus and I had some amazing help through this forum cleaning it out but now my Xbox won't see my laptop on the network. I can see the Xbox listed as a sharing device on the network but not the other way round.

I have tried upgrading DRM, checking all relevant services are running, switching media sharing off and then on again, reinstalling Zune, switching the firewall off, adding firewall rules...

Can anyone advise of anything I've missed?

Has to be a problem with closed ports, please have another look at the firewall rules.

I can find svchost.exe already being allowed access, but can't seem to find the rest of the executables in my PC? I can see ehshell.exe is a Media Center file so if it's missing then that should be the problem? Maybe I can just download those .exe's but I don't know what folder to put them in...?

I'm assuming you're using windows 7 here are the locations of the files.

c:\windows\ehome\ehshell.exe - Microsoft media center shell
c:\windows\ehome\mcx2prov.exe - MCX2 Provisioning Library
c:\windows\ehome\mcrmgr.exe - Media Center Extender Manager

You need windows media player 11 & you need to enable media sharing
