Ok guys, I have tried almost everything. My old laptops are showing their age, and my desktop is in worse shape. How I managed to keep a Dell Dimension 3000 running for seven years is beyond me. I need a new desktop, and I come to you fine gentlemen (and ladies)to help me choose. My hope is to find a desktop that would be able to run Skyrim without too much of a problem. The biggest obstacle to that goal is that my budget is around the $300 area. However, all I need is a tower. I already have a nice monitor and speakers that I can make due with until I get more cash. The tower is the main concern, so I hope that can keep you from a hernia after reading the previous sentences. If that is not possible within the budget, just tell me so I can find out how much I do need. Thanks for the help!

For $300 you could get a very basic system but it won't play games like Skyrim. A budget of $700 would get you system that will play Skyrim and other games.

Ok, thanks for the info. I'll just make do with the Xbox 360 version. Thanks anyway!
