help i cant get rid of system check??? i have no internet connection due to system check, how do iget round this??????

I have identified that my pc has been infected by system check. It will not allow me to access internet or any of my programs. if i press the start button it will say empty. therefore when i have down loaded iexplore and runkill it will not allow me to open ether of them from a flash stick the message i get is the "this program has a problem and has to close please tell mocrosoft about this problem. thank you very much

Not a helper here, just a member.For what its worth:
My sons computer got a system check type infection a month or so ago. He had ESET on the computer which stopped some , not all of the infection getting in.
He did lose all his Icons. When pressing the Start button it was empty but by right clicking into properties I could reach a function to unhide alot of items. I was able to access programs then through accessories / windows explorer.
Best to wait for a real helper before getting in much deeper though.
