Hi,
I initially had a google redirect malware and Win 7 Home Security 2012.
I followed the instructions found at link to remove the Win 7 security.
Afterwards I noticed on mcafee that my firewall was disabled and I was not able to turn it back on.
When I tried to turn on the windows firewall I received the following error:
Error Code 0x80070424
I saw other posts on Bleepingcomputer.com where they seem to be having the same exact problem and followed the instructions there but the firewall issue still remains and I still get some random pages that pop up at times.

I have run rkill, TDSSKiller, Superantisypware, MalwareBytes, and GMER.
