I am trying to help someone with a trojan that keeps them from running Malwarebytes (even in safe mode)to remove it. When they log in, a screen pops up with the title XP Home Security has blocked a program from accessing the internet. These also pop up... Xp Home Security Firewall Alert. Internet Explorer is infected with trojan-bnk.win32.keylogger.gen

Please let me know if I am posting this incorrectly (this is new to me) or if you need more information.

Thank you in advance

Hello dennisk63,

XP Home Security should be able to be removed by following the instructions in the Remove XP Anti-Spyware 2011, Vista Security 2011, and Win 7 Internet Security 2011 (Uninstall Guide).

That guide can be found here.

Please let us know if you have any problems with the guide or the removal.
