It looks like your Lexmark driver.

Download Autoruns for Windows: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx
No installation required.
Simply unzip Autoruns.zip file, and double click on autoruns.exe file to run the program.
Go File>Save, and save it as AutoRuns.txt file to know location.
You must select Text from drop-down menu as a file type:

"Lexbces"

Worth reading: What is Lexbces?

I am sure the LexMark has stopped support Windows 98SE, but you can go to http://www.lexmark.com and see if they have updated software and drivers for your printer.

"Worth reading: http://www.neuber.com/taskmanager/process/lexbces.exe.html]What is Lexbces?"
Oh really,
Guess you didn't bother to read it because:
"Requested URL not found"
next time check to see if it exists before you go sending it to someone

I don't appreciate your negativity towards people trying to offer you free help and assistance with your issues. It will become increasingly hard and difficult to assist someone who replies to people with such a negative attitude.

Broni - autoruns does not work with 98. Its XP or greater

Sweets - uninstall your Lexmark printer drivers then reboot your computer. See if the errors go away. If so, try reinstalling your printer drivers from the original media or from the Lexmark website, if the drivers for 98 are still available.

Try to be a little more courteous.
In the beginning there was the command line.

I'm not sure I know what you mean? Whats so special about seagate boot discs?

Get a Windows ME or Windows 98 SE bootable floppies then you just format the drive then install. I've done it for donkies years.

Talking about two different things Keithuk.
Autoruns is a program that shows what is running and what starts-up with later versions of Windows.

I believe you are speaking of a CD`s ability to auto-run\be booted from. :)
