No. We're talking real Windows XP CD, but don't worry. It may not ask you for anything and if it does, write the file name down and I can get you a copy.would that be on the Recovery and Utility disc that came with the computer?
Yes. Some computer brands, like Dell, will give you an option to perform non-destructive recovery, but that protects only your data (still, in theory, so it's always better to back them up). Since registry will be refreshed, most installed programs (yours) won't work.If I have to use the Recovery and Utility disc, will it remove the programs that were put on my computer after I got it?
Give it a shot.Should I proceed without uninstalling the patch?
