I did try the Uninstall feature first - When I say I've done everything, I meant it - I even did it again... I downloaded the uninstaller, closed everything that was open, went into task manager and closed everything under the processes under the USER tab with my user name, other than explorer.exe of course, and ran the uninstaller. After, I restarted, went to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/, installed the flash player. It gets to 100% but then it comes up with an error reading "Error: Installation failed." Thank You -
It appears that I can install it for FIrefox just fine but installign it for IE will be harder.
