i recently got a trojan virus called ertfor.A, i had microsoft security essentials installed on my computer. it detected the problem and it started to clean the computer but then when i restarted the computer i had a black screen before the windows xp logo screen appears.
then i tried to repair my windows with the xp cd. i booted the cd and it gave me this message. INF file txtsetup.sif is corrupt or missing, status 1024
Setup cannot continue. Press any key to exit.
i have a dell dimension e520 pc.
i would really appreciate if you guys would try to help me with your precious time.
