Hi there

I downloaded a "trial" version anti-porn software by a company called tuEagles. However, it stops us viewing even the most innocent of web pages.

I've tried to uninstall, but it keeps asking for a password, but the password we set, doesnt work.

We've searched the program files and removed them, removed the registry files, run a variety of antispy and malware software, including malwarebytes, but to no avail.

The PC is virtually unusable, so I e.mailed the support for the website, which just sent a new "unusable" password, through Just answer.com.

I'm getting desperate, so if anyone can help, I'd be eternally grateful.

Thanks for reading

Regards

Annie

Hi there

I've tried everything out there: This post, the "Bestcomputerexpert" one, all forums and all sites with this or releated issues like "not able to uninstall hidden programs" or "how to stop an unstoppable program". None of them worked BUT, i found a solution on my own and i was so happy that worked since myself put this bleepTY ASS program in my computer.

So,

All i did was this:

First: i went to the Device Manager and in the tab "view" selected show hidden drivers or something like that, then, i deleted the 2 drivers that started with "egl..." i don't remember the endings but it's there.

Second: I started the windows in safe mode (if you don't know how just keep pressing F8 in the operational system choose) and went to the services.msc (windows key + r) and searched for "tueagles services", clicked on it and choose to disable its initialization with the windows. What i also did also to go to the msconfig>services>tueagle services and disabled it.

Third: In the safe mode yet, i opened the cmd (windows key + r) and typed in: taskkill /f /im eglsrv.exe.

Fourth: Now you need to reinstall the tueagle over the already existing one.But this time when you get to the installation path choose it will be grayed out and it'll say that you need to uninstall the original first.Ignore that and keep going. When it asks for a reboot, do it.

Fith: When you get backup, it shouldn't start with your windows. But it will still be there. Just don't start it.

To a complete removal, i guess the only option is the reinstall the windows, in MY point of view, maybe there is another solution.

Hope it works for you. Good luck.
