My daughter has finished the last year in high school with flying colors and I promised her a TV in her room. As it is rather Small I thought a TV card in her computer would do the trick. However, I can't seem to be able to get the card to work.
The computer is a PC with a 2.4 celeron processor, 512 MB (for some reason showing only 480MB), running a SP2 windows XP professional.
The card is Lifeview FlyTV prime 30 TV card.
I have installed the card, and the drivers and software which came with it, gave it the correct info regarding broadcast system (pal_
I went to Animation technology Inc. site (http://www.lifeview.com.tw/html/downloads/internal_tv/flytv_prime_3x_series.htm) and downloaded the latest drivers and software and a hotfix for win XP with step by step instructions for removal of previous installation, and then reinstalled the downloaded stuff. It still doesn't work. With the previous version of software I could get some audio but not video. Now i get nothing!
Has anyone encountered this problem and can anyone help me getting it right?
I am embarrassed, up until today I have never had such a failure in installing any kind of hardware. Is it me?
