I use combofix just about everyday as I am a tech. I was wondering if there is someway to be able
to scan a drive such as an external with combofix?

Combofix is not an antivirus program that you can point at different folders and viruses. It is meant to do two things; automatically remove known infections or provide a log that a trained helper can utilize to further remove malware.

I completely understand what combofix is for thank you very much.
But there are certain spyware programs that render it useless. So I wind up pulling the drive attaching it externally
and the scanning it enough to be able to return the drive and have it run combofix.
I was hoping without a sarcastic you dont know what you are doing answer to have a way to
run it on a command prompt to a drive other then C: but thanks for the clear up there.

Sorry that you took it as a sarcastic reply. Was not meant to be, but rather as a description as to what the program can and cannot do.
