Themes problem

I don't what I've done but I have problem with the themes in windows 7 when I installed a theme things went wrong instead of having a pop windows to alter colour transparity I now get a windows 95 type option and I can't get the aero win 7 one back. I know this shouldn't bother me but its driving me nuts!! see pics below : if I click window colour in pic 1 I get pic 2 which I shouldn't get !! why, how, what did I do ?? :huh: :huh:

Try the "Troubleshoot problems with transparency and other Aero effects" button at the bottom of the first picture.

Done all that it says DWM is disabled but it is not and is running, done a stop and restart of DWM as advised from research on the net, but still the same.
