Hi all.

How do I put a line through a word I have typed?

I worked my way through 4 pages of Google on this question - and none of the suggestions worked.

Any help?

Thank you

If you mean striking a word here on the forums, you need to use the BB tag:
[s]** text here**[/s]
Anything typed between the tags looks like this does..

Take a look here at an explanation of BBCode to help choosing colors, fonts, size, etc.

Don't use code tags too. It should only be [s ] and [/s ] with the text between (I put spaces so the tags wouldn't work))

It would be [s ] text here [/s ] but remove the spaces inside of the brackets.

okay

Ah! It's worked - finally. I did this from Google page 1, but it didn't work. Why is it working now?

And I still can't find any BB Code here.

BBCode was implemented as method of providing a safer and easier way of allowing posts to be formatted on forums. Before BBCode forums sometimes allowed users to include HTML code in their posts, which had many security issues (i.e. the user could execute javascript code, break the layout of the site and so on).
