I have Windows XP, and when I sign on, the screen is blank. Ctrl+Alt+Delete works, so through the task manager I am able to run programs. I read previous posts from users with the same problem, and saw that I could regain my Desktop by running Explorer.exe. This will work for a few seconds, and then it will all be gone again, and then come back a few seconds later. I can open my programs and the internet and everything, but every few seconds the start menu and desktop icons disappear. I have run my spysweeper, and I removed every thing it found. My virus software (Trend Micro Antivirus) didn't find anything, and I saw that experts suggested to run SDFix for people with my same problem, so I did that. Reading the advice for the forums I realize I probably shouldn't have done that, but it found a Trojan and removed it. However, the problem is still here. I would greatly appreciate help. Thanks.
