Trend Anti Virus notified me that I have a PAK_Generic001 Virus. I was checking the stats on my website which include referring sites. i noticed one site with a URL like "non-profit" something and clicked on it. I was taken to a porn site which then automatically started installing Active X. This is when Trend notified me and I started freaking out! So I had Trend scan the entire computer only to find the virus unable to be quarantined. I was told it is located at
C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\low\content.IE5\HXHU30PU\MSCodec Lite.7[1].exe and
C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\low\content.IE5\3O09HE6B\MSCodec Lite.7[1].exe

I cannot find these files.

Deleted cookies and history.

Ran disk clean up for "temporary files" "temp.internet files" and "recycle bin".

Downloaded Malwarebytes Anti Malware and ran it. Deleted the suspicious files. Ran Trend again and the virus is still there.

What should I do? I have been using Macs all my life but bought a PC for real estate so God Bless the person who can help me! Please be patient. I follow directions well.

Thank you
Amanda
