Printer won't show up on network

Here is my problem: Our family has 3 dell computers installed on a network with two printers (one upstairs and one downstairs) and the printer hooked up onto my computer, but it won't show up on other computers. I hit share printer added a new printer and put on network and re-installed printer and it still won't show up.

So how do i get my printer to show up on wireless network.

(use dell wireless network card.)

The other computers can see your computer but not the installed printer?

Have you installed the printer's drivers on the other computers?

You should not have to put drivers on the other computers . Have you right clicked on the printer icon and allowed the printer to be shared ? This is different than turning on print and file sharing in network properties . You have to give permission for each printer or file to be shared . If you are on the internet I recommend you password your shared files .

Try running Network setup again . It won't hurt and maybe the simple way to place yourself back on your LAN . You did say your other computers could see your main computer initially right ?
