Hi,

I discovered a nasty trojan on my computer yesterday, which kept resetting my computer time and date back to Jan. 1, 2005, and Chinese sites such as caiyi8.com would keep popping up in IE (which I don't use; I use Mozilla exclusively). I was googling this virus online and came upon a few threads from last year in which you guys helped some other people with the same problem to expel the virus. I went through all the steps before creating a HJT log, running Ad-aware, spy-bot, mcafee, and also a couple of other antivirus programs: kaspersky and avg. It's brought my date and time function back to normal, but i'm pretty sure the virus is either still somewhere in my computer, or some important functions have been messed with such that my computer is still vulnerable. For one thing, my windows built-in firewall won't run, and everytime I turn on my computer, I get an error message saying that usbplayer.exe can't be found.

If someone could please take a look at my HJT log and tell me what I can do to bring my computer back to full health, I'd much appreciate it. I'd like to avoid a full system recovery if possible, but if worse comes to worse, then that's what I'll do.
