I installed Flashblock 1.5 on my pc, and it works, but I can't find the program on my pc! It's doing it's job apparently- blocking flash vids unless I click the Flash play button- but I can't find the program on my pc, even when I do a search of my pc. Also, Firefox has crashed a lot recently, ever since I installed this phantom Flashblock; also, I can't view Cnn.com videos, even when I press the Flash play button.

At the very least, how the hell do I uninstall this troublesome flashblock program?

It's not in the Add-ons folder (Tools / Add-ons)?
That's where you manage, all of your extensions.

You should be able to uninstall it, from there.
After you uninstall it, you'll have to restart Firefox, to completely remove it.

ps: i think my flashblock might have bugs that cause my firefox 2.0 to freeze sometimes? recently my pc has frozen several times while i used firefox. where can i download bug patches?

All you can do is use the latest version (v1.5.4), for your version of Firefox
Here's a link to the homepage, where you can check on the latest bugs being reported, their disposition, any possible work-arounds, and file a bug report, if yours hasn't already been reported:
