Howdy,

After running the HijackThis Program a screen comes up and gives you the choice to scan and fix.

Should that be done before posting your log on the HijackThis Forum ? Or should you post the original log ?

Thanks for your time.

Hi Dennis H,

no you should not fix anything.
Please follow this guide before posting a HJT log and pay particular attention to step9.gif on the guide in regards to how to handle HijackThis logs before being helped.

Thanks,

Thanks for the reply.

I posted a log on July 3rd on the HijackThis forum which they have not had a chance to look at yet. When they are able to get to it I wanted to make sure I did it correctly so as not waste the persons time.

Thanks again for your help.

Hi,

I assume you are reffering to this one http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic98480.html ?
Its been kinda crowded and I dont have much time today and will be gone for a couple of days.
If you do not receive any reply within the next 48 hours, just give me a tip here and I ll see what we can do.
Dennis H
Thanks will do.

I did not think I had any problems. After I posted the log I read some of the threads and saw where others where advised to remove some of the BHO (no name) items. So now I am thinking I may have a few issues.

Take Care,
