I'm getting ready to try UBUNTU and want to have a dual boot with my old windows, will I have that option? I use to run Redhat 7 back in the 90's and it would setup for dual boot but I could not find for certain if this does.
Thanks blink.gif

As long as Ubuntu has grub or lilo, it can be configured for dual boot. I don't know of any distros right off hand that do not have the option of using either package manager. This is the part of the Ubunto docs that you may find helpful:

I mis-spoke above. I should have said "I don't know of any distro that doesn't use one or the either boot loader". A package manager is something entirely different. (I'm surprised someone didn't point that out already whistling.gif )

No big deal, for some surprising reason, Window$ has screwed up on my Me computer so I'm just going to install Ubuntu on it and see how I like it. blink.gif
