I want to transfer all my photos from my PC to a Photo Printable DVD-R to clean up and free space. How do I do this? I initially inserted the DVD into the drive, opened my photo folder and then clicked on select all, file, send to, disk drive E, but then it said I had files waiting to be copied etc...

How do I move all my photos etc, and to be able to delete them from the hard drive??

I'm not too computer literate, so simple guided help would be great !!!

This was taken from JGWEED's Slow Computer Checklist Lack of Maintenance

Step 5. Clean up your hard drive (preparation for Step 7). Delete unused programs and transfer old files to a CD. Unplayed games, lots of family pictures, zipped files that you have already opened, applications you have not used in two years, software for that old printer you threw away last year---these are some examples of files you can delete. Then use Window’s Disk Cleanup to delete temporary internet files, temporary PC health files, etc..

Many thanks

You have to physically burn the files onto the DVD, you cannot just copy them. Do you have a DVD burner?

Yes, I have Nero 6 Ultra Edition which I have no idea how to use, and the "Nero User's Guide" Folder is Empty, which doesn't really help.

The second image down shows "CHOOSE RECORDER" ???

As the User's Guide is empty, where can I find more info and help?

Of course, any other suggestions would be great!

Many thanks

-> Here <- is a tutorial on how to create a data DVD using Nero 6. You can either view it, or watch a video. Please select the one that says "to start writing to a basic data DVD."

Let us know if you encounter any problems. Using Nero to burn a data CD for pictures is fairly simple once you get the hang of it.
Cheers,
