How to remove System Live Protect (Removal Instructions)
What this program does:
System Live Protect is a rogue anti-spyware that is installed without permission through Trojans and other malware. This program also uses aggressive advertising and fake Windows taskbar security alerts as a tactic to scare you into purchasing the full commercial version of their software. It goes without saying that you should not purchase this software due to these tactics.
When System Live Protect is installed on your computer without permission it is typically bundled with Trojans, worms, and other malware. It is therefore very important to make sure you immediately run any anti-virus and anti-spyware programs to remove any of the other malware that may be installed on your computer. Due to the amount of infections typically installed with LiveProtect, the fix below may not be able to remove all infections found on your computer. We therefore recommend that you post a HijackThis log in our forums after you follow these steps so that someone can make sure that all the malware was indeed removed.
