every time I start my computer it says that it cant find
C:\windows\system32\j7291139.dll
I think it might have been deleted after a scan or something
does anyone know where i can download a copy of this or how to fix it

I had a similar error but sorry all I can tell you is that you should be able to start up in safe mode. Restoring your OS should fix the problem.

what does OS stand for
Sneakycyber
Operating System. And you should find that file on your windows disk in the system32 folder, Just recopy it to the windows system 32 directory on your computer. The file may have been deleted during an uninstall, or you may have a virus. I recommend after restoring the file you search for viruses and malware.

Sometimes this is the result of an incomplete repair of the damage done by a virus. The message is telling you that it can't find the virus file to launch it (and that's a good thing!).

To get rid of the message, you'll have to run something like this free utility to locate and disable it: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysintern...s/Autoruns.mspx

You'll be looking for a reference to the j7291139.dll file. When you find it, disable that entry and the message should go away.
