Full Version: Memory Card Speed

Hi i recently installed 2 one gig memory cards on to my MB,its a OU7077 and should run at 800 megahertz but my system set up says its runnining at 533.How can i change this, my computer is a dell 8400 with 3.20 gig intel pentium 4 any advice would be a great help

We need the Dell support tag number on the back of the computer its a white sticker with long number on it. It should tell us whats supposed to be in there

hrmm Thats not the right number.. It should be on a white back round with a barcode above the number.. If your not sure just post all the numbers off the back of the computer.. You don't need to include the ones on the power supply though. smile.gif

could it be 41955951079 this number is on the white sticker as well as J9UHNIJ and has the bar code above?

According to the manual for your system.....it supports:

Thanks im a not really up on all this computer stuff does that mean i cant get my memory card to run at 800 ?

Your board will only run at 533 so the memory will only run at 533.. sad.gif
