I am having trouble networking my computers I have a desk top with windows xp home and a laptop with xp pro I am using a hub and it is hardwired not wireless. I want to share the printer on the desktop with the laptop. I have done the network set up on both computers. The problem I am having is I cannot access the computers. I have done a ping test and I can ping the desk top from the laptop but when I ping the laptop from the desktop it times out. When I go to access the computers from my network places and go to view workgroup computers I get the following message “ Logon failure the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer “. I have tried the troubleshooter but have had no success. Can anyone help with this?
