I just bought a Canon Pixma MP180 All-In-One printer. Researched the following for best prices on ink cartridges: Canon on-line store, Walmart, Circuit City, Best Buy, Office Depot & Fry's Electronics. Right now, Fry's is coming in with the best price, about a dollar cheaper than the Canon site. Anyone found a better source?

Keep searching...also keep in mind that if you order it online to save $5, then you might have to pay $10 shipping and handling. If you try to save money by buying it from a local store, then you might end up paying more due to taxes. A site with free shipping is good. A coupon to a local store is nice too!

Also, remember that you might have to take it back for some reason, in which case it's easier and quicker to bring it back to a local store rather than to ship it to the other side of the country at your expense. dry.gif

Just somethings to keep in mind! thumbup2.gif whistling.gif

Thanks for the tips! Had thought about the downside to shipping charges. But I hadn't thought about a defective cartridge, as I have never encountered one before with my Dell Printer. All I have local is Circuit City & Best Buy, which charge the same as or more than Canon direct on-line. Unfortunately, the nearest Fry's is in Austin an hour away. sad.gif But we drive down there 1-2 times a month, so looks like I'm going to be finding where the Fry's is in Austin. Thanks for your help, Steve.

For anyone interested interested in my search findings, Abacus24-7.com is two dollars less for the PG-50 black hi-yield; four dollars less on the CL-51 color hi-yield. smile.gif And they are "Genuine" Canon cartridges, not what is called Compatible, Refurbed, Remanufactured or OEM. Bizrate.com gives this company a good rating.
