I seem to never learn my lesson: checking to see if that "Remember me" box is already checked.

It seems to me that the option to be remember someone should be an action of checking rather than unchecking. I was caught off guard on my first sign in here and noticed after I had already hit the sign in button that the "remember me" was checked.

Two questions:

1 How can I undo that option?

2 Why do so many sites have that box checked rather than allowing the person signing in check the box?

Try logging out & log back in with the Remember Me unchecked.

Use the Log In at the top, in the reddish colored box, so you can uncheck the box.

If you use the log in at the home page, the Remember Me box in unchecked, well it is for me.

2. It is really there for the convenience of users. In the case of BC, it will allow the automatic fill of the login-box, thus eliminating the need to manually write in your MemberName and Password---and remembering it. If you are the only one using your computer, you should avail yourself of the auto-login feature.

Forgot about the 2nd question.

In Firefox, I leave the Remember me checked, since I'm the only one that uses it. In IE, I manually log in each time.

I cleared all the cookies out of my computer and it seems that the password is no longer there automatically

So, no more automatic login?

Auto-login worked fine for me today.
