Are you taking a poll?

Anyway, Linux the kernel and CLI will run on practically nothing ....... Pentium mmx and 16 - 32 mb RAM.
Linux with a lightweight GUI ....... Pentium or Celeron with 64 - 128 mb RAM (Puppy, DSL, VectorLinux)
Any distro with full featured GUI really needs Pll or Celeron with a minimum of 256mb RAM (you can get a heavy desktop to run on 128mb RAM but it "chugs")

Fedora5 on amd 700mhz with 256 ram. Runs perfectly.
BlackSpyder
Xubuntu on 650-700MHz P3 with 256MB RAM. Had Ubuntu but I wanted to try the Xfce desktop(which has plenty of features and flies for a P3). I have run FC4 on a 333MHz P2 with 128MB of RAM
