I have a BFG 7900GS 256MB PCI-E 16x card. When I boot up, the GPU temp runs about 50C. My computer has been shutting down after about 10 minutes and I've RMA'ed the mobo, RAM, and PSU. Could it be the video card's temps that is shutting my PC down??

Thanks...

I don't believe it would be your GPU. When my graphics card overheats it just turns itself off, bringing up no image, but my computer still stays on and I can tell from sounds.

This sounds more like your processor overheating. My friend had the same problem with his processor going up to 70-75C. His computer would immediately shut off. Make sure you have adequate cooling and put the thermal paste on right. Too much thermal paste can actually cause it to overheat. Hope this was helpful!

Any Idea what the other component temperatures are. CPU, Northbridge, etc..

Edit: Check for events in the event viewer .. Start menu, Run: then type eventvwr, and select system. See if there are any warnings or errors.
