I recently did a windows update and rebooted my computer. When I went to Outlook Express I noticed the contents of one of my folders was deleted. Is there any way to get the information back? (Windows 2000)
Thanks
Ally

Don't know if this is proper to share a topic but I have a similar issue. This morning, booted up
as usual and an automatic update popped up. I think I tried to abort it but can't remember it came so fast.
It erased most of my desktop, all my favorites, all of my documents and some others. Also have a new com-
panion in my Explorer directory under User in the Document-Settings Index. It's name is UserPPMW6GLM6L.
Whe I tried to Del. it says No, it's part of Window's Operation. I still have the original User in the Index
Please, anybody. I'll be your bestist friend (Works for my 6yo)

if you have outlook to download mail from a website it could still be on their server, so try logging into their wesite through a web broser and checking to see if it is still there.

Usually when you download it to your computer it deletes it from the ISP.
