We have 4 pcs in our household , but on 2 of them we cannot open
goggle , it just hangs and says "waiting for www.google.co.uk.
Yet if I type in the msn address or anything else it finds it no problem.
This happens when connected lan or wireless.
Tried the browser options , security etc , still no good.
Anyone have any ideas?

Try clearing the
Resolver Cache.
Go to
Start then
Run, and type in
cmd. At the prompt in the command window type
ipconfig /FlushDNS and press enter.
Do this to each computer.

Just for curiosity -
try typing in "www.google.com"

Can you navigate to C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\ and post the hosts file. Also post the hosts.ics and lmhosts file if they are in this folder. These files are normally hidden.

I assume those 4 are in a network. Can you ping the other computers?
