I k is wincal.exenow very little so help is required. The name wincal.exe and it appears that when I make an appointment with a reminder, the reminder does not happen. I have searched for a patch but no luck. Can antone help meout?

We'll have to know the details of the crash to figure it out - although I'd suspect a repair of Vista would fix this issue. Check your Event Viewer for details: Click on Start....type in "eventvwr.msc" (without the quotes) and press Enter.
