Hi, I have a new Laptop and I am trieg to network it with my PC but it won't network, I already have one computer networked into it. It is a wired network

4 questions:
- Are you using any kind of encryption?
- Is your Network Card listed in the Device manager, and if so are there any problems listed?
- What OS are you using?
- What kind of router is it?

You going through a hub or router or what? Did you run the network setup wizard on the laptop?

He is using a hub. 2 Desktops are already hooked up via ethernet. He disconnects the one that isnt the gateway and connects it to the laptop. The laptop can't connect.
He came into the chatroom yesterday shortly after he made this post. We are just waiting for him to come back in today.
