I have rad a few articles in a few places that contradict each other n just want to know what u guys think.
When i got new pc with vista, i just made normal admin account n thats all i use. Now i've read some places this is fine as in vista admin runs as standard anyway, until it comes time for a prompt then its automatically admin, and ive read in others that this is bad and ruins the purpose of admin account. So which is best? And if i am best using standard, how do i move everything from my admin to new account?

This was one of the things that Vista was designed for. If it needs administrative permissions, then you've got to give it - otherwise it won't work. This way, if malware tries to install on your system, you've got one more chance to catch it.
If you use a standard account, the procedure just gets a bit more complicated - when it asks to elevate, you'll have to provide credentials for it to do it (user name and password of an administrative account).
