hey guys!im not really sure if this is the right place to post this topic but...oh well.
ive always purchased pcs with amd cpu's.now, im planning to open up my own internet cafe for surfing and LAN. and i plan on using amd 3800+ cpus.with the server having higher apecs...a friend of mine, insists that i purchase a high end intel pc for use as a server,saying that intel pcs are much more suited for server purposes than amd's.can anyone please enlighten me?

go to www.intel.com and u'll find the boards and cpus for servers and worksations, i dont see that u really need a server , in my opinion just use a good PC if what u wish to do is share the internet from that PC server with all the other PCs.

If you are opening a Internet cafe you would deffernetly need a server if for the only reason to control what people are doing on the PCs, you can lock them down tight so you have better security.
As for intel they are the prefered cpu for servers.
