hi i have a netgear Dg834GT router i was told that i had a duff one which has now been replaced but i am still getting an intermitent connection, in the router settings it is saying LCP is down????????? what does this mean.

i have phoned British Telecom asking for a line check and they said everything is all ok with my phone line, and my internet provider is saying there is nothing wrong so what is happening because i have run out of ideas can someone please help??

Have you tried a firmware update?

yes but they dont work as they are older versions to the one i have, i have got V1.02.28
